Free-resource permissions
Made to be used, not kept in a folder. Enjoy the free resources with your learners, and help others find the originals here.
Effective 8 November 2026. This notice applies to Back in the Room Education’s own resources clearly labelled “free”, including Dragon Collection colouring pages, activity sheets and posters, and the free AI & Digital Learning Hub materials and downloads.
What you can do
- Use at home: download and print copies for yourself and your household.
- Use in education: download, print, photocopy and display the resources for learners and staff within your own class, setting or organisation. Normal paid teaching, tutoring and staff development are included.
- Use privately online: share copies with your own learners or colleagues through your organisation’s access-restricted learning platform, not an open website or public resource library.
- Adapt editable materials: adapt the editable Hub templates, worksheets and prompts for those permitted uses. Retain existing credits and identify significant changes as your own adaptations. Colouring, completing activities and adding learners’ work are also welcome.
What needs separate permission
Without written permission, please do not sell the files or printed resources, charge specifically for copies, include them in paid products or resource bundles, upload or redistribute them on public websites or shared resource platforms, remove credits or branding, or present the original resources as your own. Do not extract or reuse the dragon illustrations as separate artwork, logos or merchandise.
You may charge for your normal teaching, tutoring or staff-development time; that does not allow you to sell the resources themselves or use them to create a paid resource product.
Share the link, not the files
Please direct other people to the free resources on this website, so they can download the current versions and read the permissions for themselves.
Books and other people’s materials are different
This permission does not include any books, book extracts, paid teaching packs or other products offered for sale. The free resources complement those products; they do not give permission to copy them.
Linked courses, third-party tools, quoted material and other people’s resources remain subject to their own owners’ terms. This notice grants permission only for rights controlled by Lynsey Elliott; it does not claim ownership of third-party material or change its licence.
Credit and other uses
Keep “Back in the Room Education” and any existing author or copyright credits with the resources. Where space allows, include backintheroomeducation.co.uk. Permission to use a resource is not a transfer of ownership and does not imply endorsement of an adaptation.
For another use, contact hello@backintheroomeducation.co.uk before proceeding. Nothing in this notice limits uses allowed by applicable law, including relevant copyright exceptions.
